Finding a contact's Brevo history without opening Brevo

Finding a contact's Brevo history without opening Brevo

You're two minutes from a follow-up call and can't remember what you promised this contact last time, or whether they're still on the nurture list you moved them to. Opening Brevo means finding the contact, clicking into their timeline, and scrolling past every campaign email to find the one note that matters.

None of that is hard, exactly. It's just slow at the moment you need speed.

What you usually want to know before reaching out

  • The last thing discussed. Whatever came up in the previous call or email, so you're not repeating yourself.
  • Which list or segment they're in. Whether they're a prospect or a customer changes how you approach the conversation.
  • Any open task tied to their record. A follow-up already committed to and not yet closed out.
  • Deal or account specifics. A plan tier, contract value, or renewal date that changes what's worth bringing up.
  • Recent campaign activity. Whether they opened or clicked something recently that gives you a reason to reach out.

How Quin answers this from Brevo

Instead of opening Brevo and clicking through a contact's timeline, you can ask Quin directly: "What did I last discuss with Sarah?" or "What list is this contact on?" Quin pulls the answer from the connected Brevo record, whether it's a note from a past call, a list membership, a deal stage, or an open task, in a sentence instead of a screen full of activity history.

This works the same way whether you're prepping for a call or checking something mid-conversation, and the answer reflects the same record your team would see in Brevo itself.

Picture a call from a contact you haven't spoken to in months. Rather than stalling while you pull up Brevo and search their name, you ask Quin what you last discussed and what list they're on. By the time they finish saying hello, you know they're in a re-engagement sequence and that the last note mentioned they were waiting on budget approval.

The value here isn't only speed. A contact who gets asked about the specific thing they raised last time, instead of a generic "how's everything going," is more likely to trust that your outreach is worth their attention. For a business running most of its relationship-building through email and calls, that continuity is what makes a Brevo list feel like a relationship instead of an audience.

Best practices

  • Ask using the contact's email if their name doesn't turn up a match. Email is the more reliable lookup when a name has a typo or a nickname.
  • Be specific in what you ask. "What did I last discuss with this contact" gets a more useful answer than "tell me about this contact."
  • Check that Brevo shows as connected if an answer seems out of date. A disconnected integration means Quin is working from whatever was last synced.
  • Confirm list and deal names match Brevo exactly. A slightly different name can keep Quin from finding the right one.

Setting it up

Connect Brevo under Settings, then Integrations, using an API key generated from your Brevo account. Once it's connected, try asking a specific question about an existing contact to confirm Quin can find the record, then make it part of your routine before any call where context matters.
