Delegate access
Allow a trusted user to log in and use Quin on your behalf. Delegates get full access to your account, including meetings, email, and settings.
Delegate access lets you give another user permission to log in to your Quin account and act on your behalf. This is useful for assistants, chiefs of staff, or team members who manage your communications and meetings.
How to set it up
- Go to Account > My profile
- Scroll down to Delegate access
- Click + Add delegate
- Enter the email address of the person you want to grant access to
- Click Save
The delegate will receive an invitation to access your account. Once accepted, they can log in as you and use Quin on your behalf.
What to expect
Once a delegate accepts the invitation, they can log in to their own Quin account and switch to yours using the Switch account option in their account dropdown. While acting as a delegate, a banner will appear at the top of the screen letting them know they are working inside your account. Any actions they take will apply to your account, so delegate access should only be granted to trusted users. You can remove or edit a delegate at any time from Account > My profile.
Managing delegates
To edit or remove a delegate, go to Account > My profile and scroll to Delegate access. Use the edit icon to update access or the trash icon to remove a delegate entirely.
Troubleshooting
The delegate didn't receive an invitation
- Confirm the email address entered matches the delegate's Quin account email
- Ask the delegate to check their spam or junk folder
- Remove the delegate and re-add them to resend the invitation
The delegate can't log in to my account
- Confirm they accepted the invitation before attempting to switch accounts
- Make sure they are using the Switch account option in their account dropdown, not trying to log in with your credentials
- Remove and re-add the delegate if the issue persists
I need to remove delegate access
- Go to Account > My profile, scroll to Delegate access, and click the trash icon next to the delegate's name
