Dropbox

Quin connects to your Dropbox account so you can manage files and folders through conversation. Search for files, upload meeting outputs, create folders, and organize your storage — all without leaving Quin.

Before you begin

You'll need an active Dropbox account. Make sure you have the appropriate permissions for any folders you want Quin to access.

How to set it up

1. Go to Settings > Integrations
2. Click Dropbox
3. Click Connect account
4. Sign in to your Dropbox account and authorize Quin
5. Your Dropbox integration will now appear as "Active" in your Integrations page

What to expect

Once connected, you can ask Quin to find, upload, create, rename, copy, move, or delete files and folders in your Dropbox. File searches support filters like name, content type, and folder location, so Quin can locate exactly what you need. You can also upload files from a meeting recap, a URL, or content generated in chat. Destructive actions like deleting files require you to confirm before Quin proceeds.

Troubleshooting

Quin can't find a file I know exists

• Make sure the file name or content matches what you're asking for
• Try specifying the folder location to narrow the search
• Confirm the file isn't in a folder your Dropbox account doesn't have access to

Quin isn't connecting to Dropbox

• Go to Settings > Integrations and check that Dropbox shows as Active
• Disconnect and reconnect the integration if the status looks incorrect
• Make sure you authorized Quin during the Dropbox login step

A file upload didn't go through

• Confirm the destination folder exists in your Dropbox
• Check that the file source (URL, chat file, or content) is accessible
• Try specifying the folder path explicitly in your request
