Keap
The Keap integration connects your CRM with Quin, automatically syncing contacts, companies, opportunities, tasks, and notes between both systems. When you mention a contact during a meeting or conversation, Quin finds the matching Keap record and updates it with notes, tasks, and follow-up information based on your Guidelines.
How to set it up
- Go to Settings > Integrations
- Click Add Integration
- Select Keap from the list and click Connect
- Follow the OAuth prompts and authorize Quin to access your Keap account
- Review the requested permissions and click Allow
The integration will appear as "Active" on your Integrations page once connected.
What to expect
After connecting Keap, Quin automatically updates contact records, logs meeting notes, and creates tasks based on your conversations and meetings. When you mention a contact or company, Quin identifies the matching record in Keap and can update it with notes, tasks, or follow-up information. When someone commits to a deliverable during a meeting, Quin creates a Keap task with the relevant due date and completion status. You can also ask Quin questions like "What did I last discuss with Sarah?" and get answers pulled from Keap without opening the app.
How Quin works with Keap
With Keap connected, Quin keeps your CRM current without you having to touch it. Here’s what you can ask Quin to do:
- Log meeting notes and follow-ups directly to contact records
- Create tasks with due dates when someone commits to something on a call
- Track and advance opportunities through your sales pipeline
- Attach notes and files to contacts to keep records complete
- Answer questions about any contact or company using live Keap data
- Create new contacts when enough identifying information is available
Customizing CRM updates
You can control what information Quin adds to Keap through Guidelines. Guidelines are instructions that tell Quin how to process your meetings, like "Always create a follow-up task after sales calls" or "Log opportunity stage updates after every client meeting." Quin follows these instructions automatically after each meeting ends.
Troubleshooting
Contact records aren't being updated in Keap
- Verify the Keap integration shows as "Active" in Settings > Integrations
- Confirm your Guidelines include instructions to update Keap after meetings
- Make sure the contact exists in Keap before the meeting — Quin updates existing records and can also create new ones when enough identifying information is available
Quin can't find a contact I mentioned
- Verify the contact exists in Keap with the name or email you mentioned
- Check that name spellings match exactly between your conversation and the Keap record
- Try using the contact's email address for more accurate matching
A new contact wasn't created
- Keap requires at least one email address or phone number to create a contact — confirm that information was included in your conversation or update your Guidelines to prompt Quin to ask for it
Tasks aren't appearing in Keap
- Check your Guidelines to confirm Quin is instructed to create tasks in Keap
- Tasks require an assigned user — verify your Keap user is correctly associated with your connected account
The integration won't connect
- Make sure you have admin or integration permissions in your Keap account
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting from Settings > Integrations
