Brevo combines a CRM with email marketing tools, so once connected, Quin keeps contacts, companies, deals, and list memberships current, in addition to the usual meeting notes and tasks.
Before you begin
You need an active Brevo account with permission to generate an API key. Unlike some integrations, Brevo connects through an API key rather than a sign-in flow, so you'll need access to your Brevo account settings to complete setup.
How to set it up
- Log in to your Brevo account and go to your account settings to generate a new API key.
- Copy the generated key.
- In Quin, go to Integrations and select Brevo.
- Paste your API key into the field and save.
- Your Brevo integration will now appear as connected on your Integrations page.
What to expect
After connecting, Quin automatically syncs contact information between Brevo and your conversations. When you mention a contact or company in chat, Quin finds the matching Brevo record and updates it with your notes. You can ask Quin questions like "What did I last discuss with Sarah?" and get instant answers from your CRM without opening Brevo. If a meeting produces a commitment or follow-up, Quin creates a task in Brevo automatically, and any relevant list membership changes are made without manual entry.
Managing your Brevo data
You can control how Quin updates Brevo through Integration Guidelines. Provide instructions like "Always add new leads to the Q4 Nurture list" or "Always tag enterprise contacts as high-priority in Brevo." Guidelines help Quin organize contacts, deals, and tasks according to your workflow.
Disconnecting stops all future syncing between Quin and Brevo. Contacts, deals, and notes already in Brevo remain there but won't receive further updates from Quin.
Troubleshooting
Quin isn't finding a contact in Brevo
- Check that the contact name or company name matches exactly in Brevo
- Verify the integration is still connected in your Integrations settings
- Try using the contact's email address instead of their name
Quin isn't updating Brevo after meetings
- Confirm the Brevo integration shows as connected in Settings
- Check that your API key hasn't been revoked or regenerated in Brevo
- Make sure your Guidelines don't restrict which meetings sync to Brevo
List or deal updates aren't appearing
- Verify your Brevo API key has permission to manage lists and deals
- Check that the list or deal name mentioned matches Brevo exactly
