Zoom Phone
Connect Quin with Zoom Phone to automatically process calls, capture key points, and create summaries. Quin handles call notes so you can focus on the conversation
Quin connects with Zoom Phone to automatically download your call recordings and generate meeting notes, action items, and follow-up drafts. When you record a call using Zoom Phone, Quin processes the recording to capture key decisions and next steps.
Before you begin
Make sure you have an active Zoom Phone number and recording enabled in your Zoom Phone settings. You'll need permission to record calls in your Zoom account.
How to set it up
- Go to Settings > Integrations
- Click Add Integration
- Select Zoom Phone from the list and click Connect
- Follow the prompts to authenticate your Zoom account
- Click Allow to grant Quin permission to join phone calls
Once connected, the integration status shows as Active in Settings > Integrations.
What to expect
After connecting Zoom Phone, Quin automatically downloads your recorded calls and generates summaries with key decisions, action items, and discussion points. When each recording is ready, Quin creates a recap and can draft follow-up emails or create CRM updates. All call recordings are processed securely within your account.
How it works
Quin monitors your Zoom Phone account for new call recordings. When you record a call using Zoom Phone's recording feature, Quin automatically downloads the recording after the call ends and processes it to create notes and summaries. You don't need to manually upload recordings or trigger any actions.
Recording must be enabled in Zoom Phone for Quin to process your calls. Other call participants hear a standard Zoom recording notification when you start recording.
Managing call recordings
To control which calls Quin processes, use your Guidelines to specify instructions like "Only process calls longer than 5 minutes" or "Skip internal team calls." You can also manually delete specific call recaps from your account if needed.
Disconnecting Zoom Phone
If you need to disconnect Zoom Phone:
- Go to Settings > Integrations
- Find the Zoom Phone integration
- Click Disconnect
- Confirm the disconnection
Disconnecting stops Quin from downloading future call recordings. Call notes already captured remain in your account.

- Confirm that recording was enabled during the call
- Check that the recording completed successfully in Zoom Phone

- Very short calls (under 1 minute) may not be processed
I can't find my call recording in Quin
- Verify that recording was turned on during the call
- Check your Zoom Phone settings to confirm recording is enabled
- Contact your Zoom administrator if call recording features are restricted
