Customize Quin overview

Personalize Quin to fit your workflow. Configure workflows, connect integrations, set guidelines, create templates, and update your profile from one settings page.

Quin works best when it understands how you work. The Settings page is where you configure everything from which meetings Quin joins to how it writes your emails. The more you customize, the more Quin can do exactly what you need without being asked.

To access your settings, click the settings icon in the top navigation bar or go to Settings.

Workflows

Workflows are the core features that Quin runs for you automatically. Each workflow handles a specific part of your day, and you can turn them on or off and configure how they behave.

Your core workflows include:

  • Notetaker - Quin joins your virtual meetings, takes notes, and handles follow-ups.
  • Scheduler - Quin makes meeting scheduling simple by finding the right time for everyone.
  • Meeting reminders - Quin sends email and SMS reminders to attendees before your meetings.
  • Email replies - Quin drafts responses to incoming emails, ready for you to review.
  • Email follow-ups - Quin tracks your sent emails and drafts timely follow-ups to keep conversations moving.
  • Daily brief - Quin sends a daily email to help you stay organized and prepared for your day.

Click into any workflow to adjust its settings, or toggle it on and off from the main Workflows page. You can also create your own custom workflows or browse pre-built options from the Discover tab.

Guidelines

Guidelines are instructions that tell Quin how to handle your meetings and communications. They let you set preferences like "Always draft a follow-up email after client calls" or "Highlight action items and assign them to the person who volunteered."

You can create guidelines for specific meeting types, email responses, or general behavior. The more specific your guidelines, the better Quin's output matches your expectations.

To manage your guidelines, go to Settings > Guidelines.

Document templates

Document templates define the format and structure Quin uses when creating meeting recaps, follow-up emails, and other documents. Instead of getting a generic output, you can set up templates that match your team's style and include the sections that matter most to you.

To create or edit templates, go to Settings > Document templates.
