What to expect

After connecting Microsoft Teams, you can chat with Quin directly in Teams through direct messages or by mentioning @Quin in channels. Ask Quin to create tasks, draft emails, update CRM records, prepare for meetings, or answer questions about your contacts. All your Quin features work directly in Teams, so you can stay in your workflow without switching applications.

Examples:

  • You message Quin "Create a task to follow up with Sarah by Friday" and the task appears in your task list
  • You mention @Quin in a channel with "Draft an email to this prospect" and Quin creates a draft in your Gmail
  • You ask Quin "Prep me for my 2pm meeting" and get context about attendees and past conversations
  • You tell Quin "Update the CRM with this deal status" and the information syncs to your connected CRM

How it works

Quin integrates directly into your Microsoft Teams workspace:

Direct messaging - Send Quin a direct message in Teams to create tasks, draft emails, ask questions, or get meeting preparation.

Channel mentions - Mention @Quin in any Teams channel to have Quin help with team conversations, capture action items, or provide information.

Task creation - Turn Teams messages into tasks by telling Quin what needs to be done. Tasks sync with your connected task management system.

Email drafting - Ask Quin to draft emails based on Teams conversations. Drafts appear in your Gmail drafts folder ready to review.

CRM updates - Tell Quin to update contact records or log activities, and changes sync to your connected CRM automatically.

Meeting preparation - Ask Quin about upcoming meetings to get context about attendees, past conversations, and relevant notes.

Contact lookup - Ask Quin questions about any contact to retrieve information from your CRM without leaving Teams.

Grant and manage Teams app permissions

If you're an IT administrator managing Teams for your organization, you may need to grant consent to Quin's app permissions before users can install it. This allows Quin to work properly without requiring each individual user to review and approve permissions separately.

Global Administrators can grant consent on behalf of all users in your organization. This ensures smooth adoption of the Quin app across your team while maintaining security and compliance standards.
