Quin syncs Slant households, contacts, meetings, and opportunities automatically — keeping your wealth management CRM current without manual data entry.

The Slant integration connects your wealth management CRM with Quin, automatically syncing household, contact, and pipeline information between both systems. When you mention a client, household, or opportunity during a meeting, Quin finds the matching record in Slant and updates it with new notes, tasks, and details without manual entry.

Before you begin

You'll need an active Slant account with API access enabled and an account-level API key from Slant. This key isn't tied to an individual user, so an admin on your Slant account will typically need to generate it.

How to set it up

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations].
  2. Locate Slant and click Connect.
  3. Enter your Slant API key.
  4. Click Connect to finish.

Once connected, the integration shows as Active on your Settings > Integrations page.

What to expect

After connecting, Quin automatically syncs household, contact, and pipeline information based on your meetings and conversations. When you mention a client, household, business, or opportunity, Quin identifies the matching record in Slant and can update it with notes, tasks, or follow-up details based on your Guidelines (instructions that tell Quin how to process your meetings, like "Always log estate planning discussions to the household record"). Quin can also pull meeting transcripts and recent notes from Slant to help you prepare.

What Slant records Quin can update

Quin works across households, individual people, businesses, trusts, prospects, opportunities, projects, tasks, and notes in Slant. If you mention any of these during a conversation, Quin can look up the existing record or, for tasks, notes, and similar activity records, create a new one.

Troubleshooting

Household or contact records aren't being updated in Slant

  • Verify the Slant integration shows as Active in Settings > Integrations.
  • Confirm the household, person, or business already exists in Slant — Quin updates existing records but may not create new household or trust records automatically.
  • Check that your Guidelines include instructions to update Slant after meetings.

Quin can't find a household or contact

  • Verify the name or email you mentioned matches the record in Slant exactly.
  • Use a full name or email address for more accurate matching, especially for households with similar names.

Trust or opportunity details aren't syncing

  • Confirm your API key still has access to the relevant Slant modules (trusts, opportunities, projects).
  • Check with your Slant admin that the account-level API key hasn't been regenerated or revoked, which would disconnect the integration.
