Sub-accounts

Create sub-accounts under your main Quin account and assign individual credit limits. Manage usage across your whole team from one shared billing profile.

Sub-accounts let you add additional Quin accounts under your own and control how many credits each one can use. Every sub-account shares your billing profile, so all usage rolls up into a single bill.

How to set it up

  1. Click your profile picture in the top-right corner
  2. Select Sub-accounts
  3. Click Add account
  4. Enter the new sub-account's Email, First Name, and Last Name
  5. Set a Credit limit for the sub-account
  6. Click Add Account

Quin sends an invite to the email address you entered. The recipient signs up for their own Quin account from that invite, and their usage draws from your shared credit pool.

What to expect

Once you add a sub-account, Quin sends the invited email an invitation to sign up. After they complete setup, they get their own Quin login while their usage counts against your account's shared credit pool. The Sub-accounts page lists every sub-account you've added, and usage across all of them rolls up into your main billing profile.

Managing sub-accounts

You can edit a sub-account's credit limit at any time from the Sub-accounts page. You can also remove a sub-account, which ends that account's access to Quin and removes it from your billing profile.

Troubleshooting

I don't see the Sub-accounts option in my account settings

  • Sub-accounts may only be available on certain plans
  • Check your current plan under Billing & usage
  • Contact support if you believe you should have access

I can't set the credit limit I want

  • Credit limits for sub-accounts draw from your account's shared credit pool
  • Lower the requested limit and try again
  • Check your remaining credit pool under Billing & usage before adding a new sub-account

The invited person hasn't received their invite

  • Confirm the email address was entered correctly when the account was created
  • Ask them to check spam or junk folders
  • Remove and re-add the sub-account to resend the invite
